As from March 1, 2015 the Agreement between the EPO (European Patent Office) and the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Investment and the Digital Economy for the Validation of European Patents will come into force. It will, therefore, be possible to validate an European patent in Morocco (country not party to the Convention on the European Patent).<\/p>\n

By filing an European patent application, once the European patent is granted, the protection granted by the European Patent maybe extended to the territory of Morocco. A European patent validated in Morocco, will have the same effect as a Moroccan Patent and will be subject to the law of the Moroccan national patents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
