<\/div>Graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi of Milan, Mr. Gislon holds a post-graduate diploma in \u201cContentieux des brevets en Europe\u201d (European Patent Litigation) from the University of Strasbourg and a post-graduate certificate in Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan. After three years as a research chemist at the University of Milan, in 1986, he began to work in the IP field. From 1976 to 1994 he was a consultant in pre-vulcanized latex industry. He is a founding partner of Marietti, Gislon e Trupiano<\/em>, Torner, Juncosa i Associats<\/em> and Fabiano, Franke & MGT<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Since 1996 he has been an appointed member of the EPO Examination Committee for the European Qualifying Examination (EQE-ECIII). He has been a speaker at seminars and courses in Europe (EPO), Argentina (CONICET) and India. He is a speaker for the University of Strasbourg<\/em> course in European Patent Litigation.

His main technical fields are:<\/h3>\n

\u2192 agro-food: fortified foods; coffee extraction and packaging; natural products extracts; fertilizers;
\n\u2192 automotive: air-bags, safety belts;
\n\u2192 textile: fabrics; high tech fabrics; dyes and yarns; non-woven fabrics;
\n\u2192 thermoplastic polymers and their processing;
\n\u2192 general mechanics: vending and HoReCa machines; packaging machines; roller coasters and amusement rides;
\n\u2192 prostheses and medical implants; technical and medical gases.
\n

<\/div>As a patent litigator, he is active both with oppositions and appeals before the EPO, and in Italy, where he represents parties in patent litigations and where he also acts as Court Technical Expert for the Patent Court of Milan. In Italian litigations, Mr. Gislon was the patent attorney of several national and international clients, including the European Central Bank.<\/p>\n
